Pretty in blue...

Mia spent Saturday night with her Mimi and Pappy. She did lots of visiting. She's a busy girl! Here are some pictures of her when she got home on Sunday. Looks like she had a good time!

Another busy weekend....

Well, it was another busy weekend at our house. Friday night mama came over and spent the night to help me get things ready for the engagement party for Chasity and Trey. Saturday we had lunch with Adriann and Bryan at Rogers. Yummy! The party Saturday night turned out really nice. We had a good crowd. Here is a picture of some of us girls!

I'm a big girl!

I ordered Mia a Bumbo seat off of Ebay. I think she likes sitting up like big girls do!

Tasty fingers!!!

My new outfit from cousin Ava!

We love this outfit! Isn't she just precious in it?!? Thank you cousin Ava!

Play date with Carly and Rylan

On Saturday Mia got to meet Rylan and Carly. They all had a great time. It was good catching up with Christian, Shelley, and Adriann. It's amazing how the babies are growing!
Today we are going to have lunch with Stan, Logan and Gracie.
The first week of daycare went well. Mia seems happy, but is so tired when she gets home. Hopefully, week 2 will go just as well!

Bed Head....

When I sleep, I sleep hard!

Starting daycare....

Well, tomorrow Mia will spend a half day in daycare. Ryan and I will both take her in the morning and then he is picking her up at lunch time. She will go a half day Tuesday and then start full days on Wednesday. It's going to be really hard. I'm spending every moment I can with her today. I'm sure it'll be easier for her than it will for me.
On a lighter note, we had a nice relaxing weekend. Friday night we stayed in and went to bed early since it was so nasty outside. Ryan had to work Saturday morning, so me, Chas, and Adriann went to lunch to celebrate their birthdays. We went to Benton's. It was yummy! We had a really good time. Daddy (aka Pappy) and Emily kept Mia while we were at Benton's. Sat. night we did some shopping and went to bed early. Today we're just taking it easy.
Next weekend we're getting together with Christian, Rylan, Shelley, and Carly. They haven't met Mia yet. It should be fun for all of us moms and young-uns! :-)

These are some pics I took this weekend. Ain't she purdy??? I'm also posting a pic of me on my due date for those of you who never saw my big ole' belly....

Sleeping Beauty....
I like to stand like a big girl!
So peaceful!

Busy Weekend

Mia had quite a busy weekend. On Friday night we met Ryan's family at the Compass in Turbeville to celebrate Mrs. Kathy's birthday. Mia was quite a little angel while we all ate. On Saturday morning we packed up and headed to the beach to meet mama and daddy. Mama and I headed to the Tanger outlets while the guys took Mia on her first trip to the Bass Pro Shop. She came home with a cute pink Bass Pro Shop onesie that her daddy bought her. Mama and I found some really good deals at Carter's and Old Navy. Mia ended up with lots of nice things!
She wasn't too busy though to pose for some new pictures!

Shots! Yuck!

Mia went for her 2 month old shots yesterday and I must say that it was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life! 5 shots! Bless her heart! She screamed and screamed. It broke my heart, but she seems to have forgotten all about it. She drank 9 oz in 1 1/2 hours last night and then went to sleep and slept 8 1/2 hours. She woke up and took a bottle and slept 3 more hours. She's just been laughing and smiling, so I guess she feels okay. She weighed 12 pounds and was 23 1/2 inches long. She's a growing girl! I'm not looking forward to the next set of shots in 2 months. Mama went with me yesterday and she said she couldn't go through seeing that again!

New Years

For New Years Ryan, Emily, Brian, Chasity, Trey, and me went out to eat at Red Bone Alleyand then out for a few drinks to ring in the New Year. Mama and daddy wanted to keep Mia so they came to Florence and stayed at our house. We had a good time. It was nice to get out for a little while, but we thought about Mia the whole time! She was in good hands of course!
Today we cooked New Years dinner. It was YUMMY!!! Then Ryan and Daddy went golfing and the girls went to Target - my favorite store! It was a good New Years. Ryan and I both have off tomorrow so we're going to relax a little and love on Mia!
